The Museum
Set right next to the Speleo Club Association of Nuxis, it exhibits several objects related to the activities pursued by the Speleo Club in the last 35 years.
The site is located next to the small town of Nuxis (from Sardinian “nuts”) in the south-west of Sardinia (Sulcis). Behind the village rises Monte Tamara (849m). Besides the old mines, the municipality of Nuxis includes the Nuragic sacred well of Tittino and the charming rural church of S.Elia from the Byzantine era. Both the sites are 4 km away from the village, southbound.
